New Cod: Modern Warfare (2019) Details!!!

The next installment of the COD series is something very, very familiar to fans of the series. What seems to be a sort of reboot of the widely successful Modern Warfare series, brings industry leading graphics and what we can assume is traditional Call of Duty gameplay. Upon announcement, we got a release date of October 25th, 2019, and details about DLC already. One of the most surprising moves from a Call of Duty game I've ever seen has to be the fact there won't be any paid for DLC. Everything (in terms of maps as far as we know) is going to be free post launch, so maybe they're still going to try and cash in with some weapon skin purchases, but time will tell as we get more details.

Now to the trailer. Upon watching, it looks like we're seeing the return of Captain Price, one of the most beloved characters to hit the screen in any COD game. The trailer packed amazing graphics and shots of soldiers breaching buildings and bombs going off in the distance of a middle eastern city. So it's safe to say this version of the game is going to stick to the script of the first Modern Warfare game, but with a different perspective about the events that took place. But who knows? The story might be something completely different and honestly I would be okay with a fresh story from Captain Price's perspective.

One of the most exciting things about this iteration of Modern Warfare is WHO you're going to be able to play with. There have been reports of cross platform play between PS4, XB1, and PC. Which seems insane for a Call of Duty game. So maybe we'll finally be able to see who is superior between all the systems.

There are also rumors that the Call of Duty series is going to end as a whole in 2020, which would honestly be sad to see, but they did screw themselves over with those few years of jet packs and wall running... It's been a great run as a COD fan, and hopefully they can perform with some amazing games before the series comes to a close.
