Microsoft and Sony are teaming up!?

Recently today Microsoft and Sony announced today they are going to explore a cloud based solution for gaming experiences and AI solutions. This comes as a big surprise to someone who thought Microsoft and Sony would never work on anything together related too gaming. However I think this exploration might lead to some promising discoveries and advancements. In short the two companies want to enhance consumer experiences when it comes to direct forms of entertainment such as video games.

Microsoft released an article in which they stated they would use Sony's "cutting-edge image sensors with Microsoft's Azure AI technology in a hybrid manner across cloud and edge..." So in short, the two want to use Microsoft's insane AI technology and Sony's consumer products to deliver "intuitive and user-friendly AI experiences."

So hopefully this means a crazy future full of Microsoft and Sony collaborated tech which uses AI learning to enhance the experience (whatever that might be) for each individual consumer. This is exciting news as these two companies have had a heated rivalry over the years in regards to their console wars.
