Marvel Wins... and will continue to win.
Hall H at Comic Con on Saturday was the place to be. Marvel announced what phase 4 is going to look like! For those who don't know, phase 4 is referring to the set of movies and streamed content now, that Marvel is using to expand its Universe's continuity. And wow... we got some amazing announcements. Let's start with naming all the confirmed movies and shows...
Falcon and Winter soldier (Disney+), Loki (Disney+), Black Widow, WandaVison (Disney+), Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Hawkeye, Thor: Love and Thunder, Eternals, Shang-Chi, BLADE, and an animated What If? series. Not to mention Kevin Feige stated that they're working on Black Panther 2, Captain Marvel 2, Guardians 3, X-Men, and the Fantastic Four. All of these things are coming after Endgame, and somewhat seem more promising? I don't thing promising is the right word. I think it's the fact that Marvel just knows what it's doing, and hopefully executes each of these shows and movies to the max, leaving all of us waiting for even more in the next phase. But let's slow down, no need to jump that far.
2021 seems to be the year to wait for however, with 7 movies and shows being released between those 365 days. One of those release dates is May 7, 2021 with Doctor Strange coming back to face the multiverse. This is reportedly going to be Marvel's first attempt at making a "scary" movie, and I'm just so excited to see what that means. Marvel movies almost always have that moment where everything seems to be going wrong, but adding any amount of horror or thriller into that mix and we might be in for something terrifyingly amazing.
That's mostly if for Marvel news out of Hall H! Keep your eyes peeled here for more updates and info!
